1. Things Heard and Seen (2021)

This horror masterpiece is based on ‘All Things Cease To Appear‘, a novel by Elizabeth Brundage. The story revolves around a young couple who recently moved to a country home with a disturbing past and dark secrets.

The film is directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini. While the cast includes Amanda Seyfried, James Nortan, Natalia Dyer, and Rhea Seehorn. Furthermore, the horror flick has a running time of two hours.

2. Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016)

A widow and her daughters use the ‘Ouija’ board to interact with spirits, a way of helping people move on in life. Unknowingly a spirit poses the youngest daughter and since then things are chaos for all.

The film is directed by Mike Flanagan and stars Elizabeth Reaser, Lulu Wilson, Annalise Basso and Henry Thomas in the lead role. Moreover, the film has a running time of one hour and thirty-nine minutes.

3. Resident Evil (2002)

Resident Evil is more than just horror. Monsters, Zombies and Action, it’s a complete package. The story revolves around Alice, a humanoid developed to clean Umbrella Corporation’s biotech chemicals that end up creating zombies and worst.

The film is directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and has a star cast of Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez and Eric Mabius. Furthermore, the one-hour forty-minute film is part of the entire Resident Evil Universe.

4. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

The ninth instalment of the epic film series follows the culmination. The plot revolves around a group of young entrepreneurs visiting Texas for a new and peaceful life. While wandering around they collide with the legendary Leatherface, the figure behind the bloody massacre.

The film is directed by David Blue Garcia and stars Sarah Yarkin, Elsie Fisher, Mark Burnham, and Moe Dunford. Moreover, it has a running time of one hour and twenty-three minutes.

5. The Unholy (2021)

The film starts with a hearing-impaired young girl, who gets healed with the help of the powers of the Virgin Mary. However, when the journalist investigates the hidden truth behind the miracle, he ends up uncovering a sinister secret.

The film is directed by Evan Spiliotopoulos and is based on a book by James Herbert. Furthermore, the cast includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Katie Aselton, William Sadler and Cricket Brown.

6. The 8th Night (2021)

The film follows a monk who hunts down a monstrous spirit responsible for wreaking havoc on earth. The one-hour and fifty-five-minute flick features some of the most haunting sequences of all time.

The flick is directed by Kim Tae-hyoung and includes Lee Sung-min, Park Jin-soo, Park Hae-joon, Kim Ho-tae, Kim Yoo-jeong, Ae-ran, Nam Da-reum, Cheong-seok, Kim Dong-young, Dong-jin in pivotal roles.
