Young Millionaires Ending Explained

When David, Jess, Leo and Samia win the lottery unexpectedly, they are left ecstatic, living the rich life without a care in the world. However, when going through the process of trying to claim the winnings, they realise soon enough that since they are minors, they will need an adult to get the prize. Confused and desperate since they can’t trust anyone around them, the four of them come up with a plan to rope their teacher into their plans. Although he agrees to help them, he gets into an accident, and the four assume that the ticket is lost.

However, David figures out that the ticket might be in Pivot’s daughter’s purse and steals and hides it in a dumpster, but before they can get there, the trash gets collected. The next morning, they read that another person had cashed in the ticket in the newspaper, and they decide to confront him. In a shocking twist, they find Victoire and Jess at the house, and the latter fills her friends in on using her to finally cash in their lottery.

With huge debts hanging over David’s head, he desperately tries to get the money from Victoire, but she doesn’t let him take the cash. Meanwhile, Leo tells Chloe everything about the lottery, which spreads in the school like wildfire. The others are afraid that Victoire will make a run for it, but realise that she doesn’t know anything, resulting in Jess and Samia spreading the rumour that someone else won the lottery.

As things get worse, including the school catching fire after a rager goes out of hand, David ropes Jordan in to take the blame and get the police off their backs, but when one problem ends, another rears its head – they are now being hunted by dangerous people who want their money.

With them in a mess now, they desperately try to play the blackmailer’s games, but it gets more and more complicated with increasingly dangerous odds. When Leo gets in trouble, they are able to spot the blackmailer near them, but eventually lose him in a chase. Elsewhere, Tom follows Victoire around, and the group later finds out that she lied about being an orphan and probably has her mother alive. The gang break into her house that night and, in a surprising twist, finds out that her real name is Katarina Topalovic.

Realising that she might be the blackmailer, they decide to suck up to her to win her trust. In the end, though, the gang realises that Victoire is innocent in all this as well and that she’s not the perpetrator.

Who is the real perpetrator?

In a surprising twist, we see the perpetrator putting a spy cam in Leo’s room, and afterwards, we see Paul, Samia’s boyfriend, spying on the group. It turns out that it’s Paul who orchestrated the entire thing. The gang decides to manipulate the situation and use the spy cam to their advantage, talking about Samia’s heart condition to garner Paul’s sympathy as they wait for him to transfer the money. Meanwhile, Tom tells Victoire everything and, incensed, she spills the beans to Paul for the huge breach of trust.

After telling him the gang’s plans, she tells him to go to Panama to get the money out, but when he refuses, Victoire and Paul get into an agreement to transfer the money from Panama to the Caymans, and the money comes into their hands through several shell companies.

At David’s party, the two decide to get their revenge, and Victoire pushes Pull to pull the plug, but it just turns out to be a gag on him. In yet another twist, Victoire is actually working with the gang after they told her the truth 2 days ago, and this was all just a ploy to make Paul confess in front of everyone and sign the documents where he gives consent to get only 50 shares.

Why did Paul blackmail the gang?

After learning about the money, Paul decided to blackmail them because he realised that there was something going on between Samia and Leo. Desperate to have her girlfriend back and jealous of her relationship with Leo, he did all this so that he could be the hero, but that plan didn’t end up working out.
