The release of the You Will Die in 6 Hours trailer, featuring NCT Jaehyun, has generated significant buzz and excitement among fans. The film is set to make its debut at the 28th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) this July before hitting theatres. Adapted from Takano Kazuaki’s novel 6-jikan Go ni Kimi wa Shinu, this thriller mystery is directed by Lee Yoon-seok and marks Jaehyun’s highly anticipated big-screen debut. Alongside Jaehyun, the cast includes Park Ju-hyun, Kwak Shi-yang, Lee Soo-jung, and others, promising a star-studded cinematic experience.
The trailer begins with Park Ju-hyun’s character, Jeong Yoon, expressing that after today, her twenties will be over. As she crosses the road, a stranger approaches her, trying to stop her, but she brushes past him. He then ominously tells her, “You will die in 6 hours.” Initially, Jeong Yoon is sceptical but decides to sit with the stranger in a café to learn more. Jaehyun’s character, Jun Woo, reveals that he saw her getting stabbed and falling. Despite her disbelief, he explains that he has the ability to see visions of someone’s future and asserts that everything he has seen so far has come true.

Jeong Yoon, desperate and scared, asks if it is possible to change the future. Jun Woo regretfully informs her that it is not, but suggests that if he were in her shoes, he would try to find the killer first. The situation takes a darker turn when Jeong Yoon receives a call from the police, informing her that a man who claims to see the future is a suspect in a series of murders. Torn between disbelief and fear for her life, Jeong Yoon finds herself in a perilous situation.
The film’s premise, combined with the intense and suspenseful atmosphere showcased in the trailer, has left fans eagerly anticipating its release. Jaehyun’s transition from music to acting is highly anticipated, and his performance in this thriller is expected to be a significant milestone in his career. Park Ju-hyun’s portrayal of a woman caught in a life-or-death situation adds to the film’s gripping narrative.

You Will Die in 6 Hours promises to be a thrilling ride, blending elements of mystery, suspense, and the supernatural. With its premiere at BIFAN, audiences are set for a thrilling experience that will keep them on the edge of their seats. The collaboration of a talented cast and a compelling storyline ensures that this film will be a must-watch for fans of the genre.
