The unveiling of You Will Die After Six Hours still triggered a wave of enthusiasm among fans, propelling the hashtag “actor Jaehyun is back” to trend on Twitter. This moment marks his much-awaited debut on the big screen. Alongside the revelation of the initial glimpse into Jaehyun and Park Ju-hyun’s characters, the film, having completed production, made a significant announcement on January 25, 2024. It disclosed that the movie is ready to initiate its international sales, commencing at the European Film Market (EFM), a segment of the Berlin International Film Festival, paving the way for its forthcoming domestic release.

Directed by Lee Yoon-seok, You Will Die After Six Hours is a gripping suspense thriller, brought to life from the pages of Takano Kazuaki’s Japanese novel. The story revolves around characters confronted with ominous predictions from a man gifted with the ability to foresee death. As the narrative unfolds, it immerses the audience in a suspenseful tale of uncertainty, where the characters grapple with the impending six-hour deadline that casts a shadow over their futures.

The newly revealed images adeptly capture the captivating atmosphere inherent in the mystery-thriller genre of the upcoming movie. In a gripping portrayal of a pivotal moment, Jun Woo, endowed with the ability to glimpse into the future, firmly clutches Jung Yoon’s arm as they both fix their gaze into the distance, eliciting a palpable sense of suspense and intrigue within the visual narrative.

Jeong Jae-hyun was previously featured in the drama Dear. M, which centres around the tranquil campus life at Seoyeon University. The peaceful atmosphere is disrupted when an anonymous post by “M” surfaces, triggering a campus-wide quest to unveil the mystery. Second-year student Ma Joo-ah, usually indifferent to personal pursuits, becomes determined to solve the puzzle.

Teaming up with the tech-savvy Cha Min-ho, long-time friend Joo A, and peers Seo Ji-min and Park Ha-neul, the group faces challenges and shifting dynamics. Amidst budding romances and complex relationships, the friends strive to unravel the enigma of “M” before the elusive identity remains concealed forever.

The highly awaited You Will Die After Six Hours is scheduled for release in the latter part of 2024.
