The last episode of the popular K-drama When the Stars Gossip aired last night and fans have a lot of feelings about it. Starring Lee Min-ho and Gong Hyo-jin in lead roles, the series was a rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish, bringing out extreme feelings for most of the regulars. As a result, fans were unable to stop watching this space odyssey! Although, the series is not without its faults and criticisms.

With the series now coming to a close, most fans were heartbroken about Eve’s death after suffering so much and feeling giddy about sweet Byeol and Ryong’s relationship. Although some fans were disappointed with the ending, especially with Eve’s death, most were emotional about it positively.

When the Stars Gossip Episode 16 Plot

In When the Stars Gossip episode 16, Eve and Ryong welcome their baby in space, who is delivered by an untrained doctor who is sent to space. Immediately after, Eve dies, leaving the baby in Ryong’s care and everyone aboard heartbroken. Eventually, Ryong decides to stay in space with the newborn baby as MZ Group comes out of this ordeal unscathed and pushes forward with the fertility centre idea. At the end of the runtime, we see Ryong and Byeol now on Earth, but Ryong has clearly paid the price of living in zero gravity for so long, as he stares out in the distance in a wheelchair.
