When is A Not So Merry Christmas Releasing? All About the Upcoming Mexican Christmas Comedy

A Not So Merry Christmas also known as Reviviendo la Navidad is a Mexican comedy movie all set to release this December. Directed by Mark Alazraki, the original story of this movie was written by Paulo Cursino who is well known for his movie Just Another Christmas screenplay. Director Mark and writer Juan Carlos Garzon and Angélica Gudiño have modified the original story and fans couldn’t wait more for the hysterical movie to drop.

In their recently released trailer, the protagonist Chuy is seen as a grumpy man who is tired of people around him who love the Christmas spirit. Sharing his birthday with Jesus, Chuy doesn’t wish to celebrate his birthday or spend time with his family. When he loses his cool, he walks away from the thanksgiving dinner and visits a bar. Over there, he meets a bartender who claims that he is Chuy’s godfather.

When things were going normal for Chuy, the so-called godfather casts a spell on Chuy that leads him to re-live Christmas eve, every day! We can see how he rants and tries to find a way out of this spell because the godfather cannot undo it himself. Will Chuy find a way out? Will he find the meaning of Christmas?

A Not So Merry Christmas is being released on Netflix. The official Netflix plotline reads as, “A curse is placed on grinchy Chuy, who wakes up to find he’s lived a full year but is doomed to remember only Christmas Day. Every year. From now on.” The movie is set to have a runtime of 1 hour 39 mins.
