When I Move MV: KARA Brings Back their Signature Sound With a Chic Video After 7 Years

When I Move, second-generation K-pop girl group KARA’s 15th-anniversary comeback title has been finally released. They have released a special mini-album ‘Move Again’ alongside the classy music video for its lead track. It’s their first Korean release since Full Bloom in 2013 and since their late member Hara’s passing.

What makes this comeback even more special is that the former members Nicole and Kang Ji-young, who left the group in 2014 are also there. Including the youngest member Heo Youngji, who was added after their departure. This new line-up is completely new and exciting to witness.

The current lineup consists of Gyuri, Seungyeon, Nicole, Ji-young and Youngji, who even performed at the MAMA 2022 with the new song, along with Lupin, Step and Mr. The music video of When I Move starts off with the members lighting a ‘K’ candle, as in to celebrate their reunion and comeback under RBW.

To describe the music video, some of the prominent colours that can be seen are black, white and shades of red & pink. The song is started by Ji-young, who is seen wearing a crown and a bright red dress – which gives a regal vibe. Followed by Seungyeon, who transitions into chic black attire, with a badass look.

The youngest member Youngji brings in a refreshing sound and surely fans would be surprised and glad to hear her voice. Soon the group break out into a hooking chorus, telling us that when they move, they get everyone grooving. In the end, it’s definitely a party, which we would like to be a part of and an emotional touch, with six mics (to honour the former member Hara), is really appreciated by fans.

Move Again album, comprises four songs- Oxygen, When I Move, Shout It Out, and Happy Hour. All the members have taken part in songwriting and everyone has contributed to the track Happy Hour. The title track is written by Nicole and Ji-young and they have also worked on other tracks, respectively. The Japanese version of the album is also said to be releasing with some schedules in Japan, next year.
