Everything Now Synopsis/Plot

In the trailer, we meet Mia, a sixteen-year-old girl who, in her quest for recovery from an eating disorder, secluded herself. After seven months, she bravely returns to school, only to realize the profound changes that have transpired during her absence. Amidst this pivotal age, her peers revel in parties and indulge in the allure of intoxication, deeming these experiences as the ‘new normal’. Feeling the urgency to catch up, Mia crafts a poignant bucket list, sensing that failing to do so might leave her trailing behind.

Mia’s journey is a quilt made of high points and low points, victory and doubt. As she is planning to finish her list, a deep inner doubt appears, making her wonder if she’s really on the correct track. It’s a delicate dance between the desire to fit in and the imperative to honour her authentic journey. In these intricate moments of reflection, Mia confronts not only her immediate challenges but also the larger questions that echo through the corridors of adolescence.
