What Happened to the Gold in Money Heist Final Season?

Money Heist final season is streaming on Netflix from December 3. The Spanish heist thriller finally concludes by bringing lots of tears and cheers on screen. Stealing gold from the Bank of Spain was a big dream of Berlin (Pedro Alonso). Berlin and the Professor (Álvaro Morte) and Palermo (Rodrigo de la Serna) have planned the heist for years.

The article contains spoilers from La Casa de Papel last season. As seen in the last 2 seasons, Professor’s gang inside the Bank of Spain melts 90 tons of gold and turn them into tiny pieces. They plan to send across these tiny pieces through water pipes to Professor and the rest of the team outside. In the 9th episode, we saw how Benjamin and other men moulded these gold pieces into bars again.

Unfortunately, cops arrive and confiscate the gold bars with Salvador Dali’s face on them. Professor Alicia and others are locked up with handcuffs in a car together. Later, it is revealed that the cops were fake. The people who stole Professor’s stolen gold were Berlin’s son Rafael and Tatiana. But what happened to the gold in the last season of Money Heist when Professor and his gang got out safely? Well, we will tell you.

After stealing the gold, Rafael and Tatiana bury it underground and cover it with a house. When Professor visits the Bank of Spain to help his friends, Alicia and others are responsible for finding the gold. Professor also gives a note to Alicia, which he wants Rafael to read. At the end of the episode, Professor gives the Bank of Spain gold-plated brass bars to avoid getting killed. So who gets the real gold?

Well, when Alicia finds the house where the gold is buried, Rafael, Alicia and their gang arrive to stop them. Alicia Sierra gives Rafael Professor’s note. We’re never shown what’s written, but the smile proves that Professor called him his family. As Professor promises Rafael that they will get their share of gold, he returns it.

At the end of the episode, we see Benjamin carrying the house on a truck. The gold is inside the house, distributed amongst everyone equally. Till the end, Professor kept denying knowing where the real gold was. So they have no threat from the Spanish government too. Well, that answers the question about the stolen gold in Money Heist final season.
