Wedding Season Cast

Life of Pi famed Suraj Sharma stars as Ravi in this film alongside Pallavi Sharda, who is known for her films Begum Jaan and Save Your Legs!, as Asha. The other cast members include Rizwan Manji, Ari Afsar, Sean Kleier, Veena Sood and Manoj Sood.

Wedding Season Plot/Synopsis

Netflix’s official description of the film reads: “Under parental pressure to find spouses, Asha and Ravi pretend to date during a summer of weddings- but their ruse goes awry when feelings turn real”. The OTT platform further describes the film as charming, heartfelt and quirky.

The trailer shows us how Asha gives into meeting Ravi after her mother forces her into it. She and Ravi attend a wedding together where they strike a deal to pretend to be in a relationship to keep all the poking and gossip at bay. However, as the duo starts to pretend to be in love, true love finds a way to creep into their hearts as they struggle to balance who they are with who their parents want them to be.
