The plot of the story revolves around Na Ah-jeong, an underrated extra actress grappling with her stagnant career and personal struggles. Despite her talent, recognition eludes her, and her romantic life remains dormant as she navigates a challenging reality. Enter Lee Do-han, a scion of the LJ Group, who seeks refuge in their long-standing friendship. Pressured by his family to marry, Do-han confides in Ah-jeong, revealing a secret that complicates his ability to fulfil their expectations. In a bold move, he proposes a solution: for Ah-jeong to play the role of his wife, thereby preserving his image and securing his position within the family empire.
