The Last of Us – January 15

The Last of Us is an upcoming series based on the 2013 video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog. Set in the post-apocalyptic world, the story will centre around Joel, tasked with escorting a teenager to safety. Created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, the lead character will be played by Pedro Pascal.

The series will be premiering on HBO Max.

Super Junior: The Last Man Standing – January 18

The docu-series will feature the members of the veteran K-pop band Super Junior. Each member shares experiences of their turbulent journey of success and glory days. They also discuss the current changes in the industry.

Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre – January 19

Israeli series Fauda is returning for its fourth season. The series’ plot surrounds an Israeli agent who comes out of retirement to hunt for a Palestinian fighter he thought had been executed. The following events lead to a whirlpool of chaotic instances.

Shanty Town – January 20

Shanty Town surrounds the story of a group of courtesans who attempt to escape the grasp of a notorious kingpin. Still, due to political corruption and blood ties, their goal seems impossible to reach.
