Velma Episode 8 has been released. It is titled ‘A Velma in the Woods’ and is directed by Cal Ramsey with the script by Matt Warburton and Stephanie M. Johnson. The episode is approximately 20-30 minutes long.
Charlie Grandy develops the show with Mindy Kaling who plays the central character and the executive producer. Charlie Grandy, Howard Klein and Sam Register also serve as the executive producers. Velma Episode 8 Ending Explained
The seventh and eighth episodes of the series were dedicated more to our titular character solving the mystery related to her mother’s disappearance than finding the serial killer on the loose. Thankfully, the makers were able to wrap up this mystery at the end of the eighth episode.

We see the group meet and find a way into the crystal mines. At the end of the tunnel that they go through, they discover the killer’s liar along with Fred and the brains of the murdered girls, which are still functional in nature. This segment is followed by Velma proposing to Daphne, who had earlier revealed to her that she has been ignoring the former by hanging out with Olive as she likes the possessiveness that comes with her. But, the awkward-romantic moment is, of course, cut short.
The interruption here is that the tunnel begins to collapse and the two need to find a way out to safety. Miraculously, it is Velma’s mother, Diya, who ends up saving everyone before the tunnel collapses. She gets everyone to the van. Velma is elated to find her mother alive and well. However, the investigator in our titular character is not satisfied just by meeting her mother.
Velma goes ahead and asks her mother who had kidnapped her. However, Diya says that she is unable to remember anything about her kidnapper, keeping us all in the dark about who is the mastermind behind all the murderous things happening in the town.
