Velma Episode 1 and 2 Twitter Reactions: Internet Finds the Supersleuth Annoying, Others Call out the Hate Watching

Velma Episode 1 Twitter Reactions have taken over the social media timelines and are filled with mostly negative comments about the new adult animated show. The reactions to the first two episodes are predominantly directed towards its representation of the supersleuth, as well as the voice of the leading character, Mindy Kaling.

For the unversed, the show features Velma Dinkley, an integral part of the Scooby-Doo universe, who appears both in the movies and the prominent spin-offs. Charlie Grandy (Champions, Guys with Kids) develops the show, and also serves as the executive producer, along with Howard Klein, Mindy Kaling, and Sam Register.

On the other hand, many netizens have called out the deliberate hate watching of the show, which has nothing to do with the plot or storyline. According to them, the causal homophobic and racist comments are something totally uncalled for, even if the show is not up to the top-tier critique standard.

Furthermore, the show has already been green-lit for a second season and is undergoing production for the same. Meanwhile, many critics have also given mixed reviews to the series, and have expressed their viewpoints about the shortcoming of the show.

The complete cast of voice actors in the show includes Mindy Kaling, Glenn Howerton, Sam Richardson, Constance Wu, Russell Peters, Melissa Fumero and many others. Moreover, here are some polarized reactions to the show, that we have compiled below.
