On 31st May 2022, BTS stood in The White House of The United States Of America to deliver a speech addressing Asian inclusion and Anti-Asian hate crimes. All of the members of BTS spoke representing the Asian community on the last day of AAPI Heritage Month. After the speech, they also joined the White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre at the press briefing.
Jimin said in his speech that they were devastated by recent hate crimes against Asian and hence took this opportunity to address it. J-hope thanked armys from different parts of the world who speak different languages to support them and Jungkook also mentions the unprecedented reach of Korean music around the world. Suga mentioned that being different is okay and we should embrace it. Jin and V also shared their thoughts on the same.

The leader of the group, RM thanked US President Joe Biden for giving them an opportunity to speak at The White House. President Biden has also shared a video talking with the group members as he welcomes them. President Biden addresses the Asian Hate in the US and also appreciates the k-pop group for their talent and their positive impact and message to the youth.

The official Twitter page of the group shared a thanking message to the President Joe Biden of the United States of America. The tweet transaltes to, “Thanks for having us at the White House! The Korean septet is set to make comeback with their anthology album PROOF which will be released on 10th June 2022. The lead single Yet To Come will be relased with a music video on 10th June at 1 PM KST.
