The season opens with us getting a rundown of Helena’s sad life with her husband, Claudio, who is extremely abusive towards her and her son. Looking for pleasure, he matches with a charming escort, Ivan. However, despite the fear of being found out, they continue their relationship, and she eventually proposes that he seduce him and make a sex tape of their affair so that she can use it against him.

Ivan eventually integrates himself into Claudio and Helena’s lives under a ruse, and Claudio starts to feel attracted to him. They go to Valle to complete their project, fully intending to go through their plan of blackmailing him. However, that night, Claudio comes across the hidden camera while they start to have sex and Helena is left scared for her and everyone’s lives, especially when she realises that her son Fer is on his way to Valle as well.

At the house, there’s blood everywhere, and Claudio is nowhere to be found, nor is Ivan. Thinking the worst, Helena tries to get the memory card out of the camera but finds it missing. She later receives a call from Ivan, who tells her that although he has no idea where Claudio is, he heard him mention someone called Magic and whether Ivan had put him up to this. Helena is confused, and the two decide to see through this mess and emerge unscathed together.

As the family suspects one another for the crime, Detective Curiel goes to the crime scene in secret and finds the hidden camera and Ivan’s fake ID card. Looking further, she learns about Ivan’s true identity, as does Octavio after Antonio wakes up from surgery. With things getting more and more complicated, Ivan and Helena find themselves in a bind as the investigation gets more and more intense. We later learn that Octavio does know who Magic is after they come after him to find his father, who owes them a ton of money.

Where is Claudio?

After Claudio disappears, most people think that he has either been kidnapped or murdered. It doesn’t help that Fer tells Livia that he has killed Claudio that night. Livia, of course, assures him that he was probably hallucinating, but this results in everyone questioning what happened to him. With no clues, everyone goes back to suspecting Ivan for Claudio’s disappearance, but in a surprising twist, we see that Claudio is alive and is being chained somewhere in episode 4.

When the others get to know, they immediately get ready to get Claudio. However, getting their hands on the ransom money isn’t easy. Helena decides to blackmail everyone she knows to get her hands on the money, in lieu of the footage that she has on them. Elsewhere, Magic follows the people who allegedly kidnapped Claudio but realises that it was a farce. However, he decides to paint the random, dead man as Claudio, hoping to put this chapter to rest and finally get his money.

However, as it turns out, it’s Antonio who kidnapped Claudio, and he did it for Livia and everything that Claudio has put the entire family through. But, of course, there is someone else much bigger working above him. Thankfully, Claudio is able to get to a phone and call Livia and then rushes out of the place where he is being held captive. Although he is eventually caught, Sofia follows Antonio to the abandoned church and is able to rescue Claudio from his prison.

What are the videos that everyone keeps searching?

Claudio used to throw parties at the Valle residence with high-profile guests. There, they used to have orgies and do drugs, and he recorded it all to blackmail everyone. With Claudio now missing, everyone gets to know about the videos and that this might be a reason for his disappearance, and so everyone tries to get their hands on them. Helena is also a part of these videos, as she is the bait for all the politicians to take part in the orgy and, in turn, get blackmailed later on for favours.

How are they leaked?

Of course, everyone tries to keep the videos hush-hush since they involve high-ranking officials, although everyone wants to get their hands on them. During a press conference, though, Pablo gets the surprise of his life after he announces that Alfredo Resendiz, or Magic, is the prime accused, and when he tries to play his confession, the sex tapes are shown in front of all the media.

An enraged Pablo ends up going to Helena’s office to confront her before shooting her and then himself. Everyone who was a part of these orgies now starts to lose their peace, realising it could be them next to lose their all. It’s here that we learn that politician Rafael is Fer’s father.

Do Helena and Ivan end up together?

At first, Helena and Ivan work together to get out of the problem posed by Claudio’s disappearance. But soon, he gets to know more about Claudio’s family and strikes up a good relationship with Sofia. Through this, he learns more about Helena as well and starts to doubt her motivations. Ivan goes to meet Pablo and tells him that Claudio hired him to use against Helena. Although his actions leave Helena frustrated, they still continue to see each other.

Later, Livia tells Ivan that Helena had an affair with her father when her mother was still alive and might have had something to do with her suicide as well. Livia further tells him that Helena is a master manipulator and can be very persuasive when she wants to be. Although Ivan doesn’t completely believe her claims, it does make her question Helena further.

After Claudio’s “death,” however, Ivan tries to break up with Helena, heartbroken that she had hidden the secret parties from him and why she was so motivated to get revenge against Claudio. Although they get back together once more, things start to sour after their sex tape is leaked. The two have a tiff, which gets worse when he sleeps with Livia.

In the end of Unspeakable Sins, they do end up staying together.

What happens in the end?

In episode 10, it comes out that Antonio is working with Fedra and was after Claudio because he had a video of himself with her son, Ariel. With Ivan’s wife now becoming suspicious and arriving at Livia’s doorstep, things start to come undone slowly. While Fedra tries to get back at Claudio by making a sex tape of her own with Octavio, the police find the hidden cameras in the sex dungeon.

Meanwhile, we get to learn that the dirt that Claudio has on Helena is that Fer is the one who accidentally killed his first wife, and thus, he has her under his thumb. Furthermore, he promises to put the entire thing on her if she doesn’t come back home.

As Sofia starts to create a case against Claudio and Helena for extortion, Claudio tortures Antonio to learn who hired him. When he learns the truth, he gets rid of him. Eventually, Fedra releases Rafael’s video, which results in the latter swearing revenge. While Claudio goes on a revenge spree, he finally finds his maker when he is suddenly murdered. After much investigation, Helena is suddenly arrested. They find a video of her going inside the house during the window of the murder although she doubts that it will hold up. As things get more complicated, Helena and Ivan realise that Fedra must have something to do with this entire thing.

Ivan and Livia break into her house and find the evidence that they are looking for while Rebeca tells Helena that Ivan must’ve killed Claudio since he came to her house covered in blood that night. Towards the end of episode 17, we shockingly learn that it actually was Ivan who killed Claudio however, another criminal was caught for the crime. It turns out that Helena knew about Ivan’s actions and had been keeping it a secret for all this time.

Octavio and Livia end up buying Helena’s shares and she confesses to Fedra that she was the one who killed Claudio, not Ivan, in a shocking twist. However, that’s all in the past and Ivan and Helena spend the rest of their lives together but, unbenownst to them, they have someone keeping an eye on their whereabouts.
