Under the Queen’s Umbrella Episode 3-4 Release Date and What to Expect?

Under the Queen’s Umbrella Episode 3 will be released next week with the fourth accompanying release coming out the subsequent day, carrying forth the story where it was left behind last Sunday. The arising complications are only going to heighten the drama that is yet to unfold in the palace.

Kim Hye-soo’s Queen Hwa-ryeong and her relationship with her five sons – the Crown Prince (Bae In-hyuk), Grand Princes Seong-nam (Moon Sang-min), Mu-an (Yoon Sang-hyun), Gye-seong (Yoo Seon-ho) and Il-young (Park Ha-jun) – is capturing a lot of viewers’ hearts and for all the good reasons. Crown Prince’s illness, Seong-nam’s dispute with Prince Ui-seong (Kang Chan-hee), and Gye-seong’s secret are adding much-needed nuanced complexities to the storyline.

With all this information already under our radar, more concealed details are bound to surface sooner or later. The series has just begun but it has already generated endless sessions of contemplation regarding each character and their role in the narrative. Everyone has something at stake, making the plot all the more convoluted. Nevertheless, the more chaotic it is, the better it gets for us. Here’s what we can expect from the upcoming episodes of next week.

Under the Queen’s Umbrella Episode 3-4: What to Expect?

Both the upcoming episodes will feature Queen Hwa-ryeong’s coming to terms with Grand Prince Gye-seong’s true identity coming to light. In the previous release, i.e. the second episode, she’d uncovered her son’s hiding spot and caught a glimpse of him adorning feminine attire.

Under the Queen's Umbrella Episode 3

The same was also overseen by Royal Consort Gwi-in Go at the last minute of the episode when the secret was finally unveiled to us. Therefore, the next few episodes will deal with how Consort Go will weigh this life-altering revelation, on the other hand, the preview does foreshadow that the Queen herself understands her son’s plight and how scared he must’ve been to come out as his (or their) true self to her, especially with all the responsibility and onus of being the Grand Prince riding on his back.

Exams for the cohort selection will also be underway and strike a balanced healthy competition between all the Princes, but only for the present while until it all changes color, turning into a cut-throat desire for power.

The first two episodes are streaming on Netflix. Let us know your thoughts on them in the comments section below.
