Several Korean variety series Busted and Crime Scene, starring a star-studded panel of cast members from various entertainment fields, have introduced audiences to mysteries being solved in real time; tvN Apartment 404 (아파트404) is slated to be a new addition to this lot of game show content. Premiering in February, the upcoming title has generated quite the buzz with frequent teaser and promos being released by tvN, following which the South Korean network revealed the individual cast member posters on January 15.
These posters feature the 6 leading regular cast members of the show being snapped through the lens of a door’s peephole, again building on the series’ thematic premise that will situate Yoo Jae-suk, Cha Tae-hyun, Oh Na-ra, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Yang Se-chan and Lee Jung-ha as residents at work to solve numerous mysteries centred around their address. Each episode will reportedly be based on true stories as the cast transcends time and space and investigate their memories of various historical eras and other locations, and the vision for the same has been helmed by director Jung Chul-min, also know for other variety ventures like Skip Dating, Sixth Sense series and The Uncanny Return.
The title itself is self-explanatory with the ‘404’ bit referring to the code highlighting that the requested search information was not found, leaving it all up to the sextet to solve the cases at hand. Moreover, the setting too, as revealed through the posters, represents an old Korean apartment location.
When and Where to Watch Apartment 404 Episode 1
Apartment 404 release date was initially slated for February 15, but now it has been moved forward to February 23, 2024 (Friday), at 8:40 PM KST. It will be aired on the South Korean network tvN and stream on TVING.

Yang Se-chan
The beloved comedian and singer has already earned a fan-favourite spot in the heart of the audience upon being promoted as a regular cast member of Running Man. He’s bound to elevate the show’s stature with his well-known humorous antics.
BLACKPINK Jennie
Not only has Jennie’s infectious charm made her one of the most loved international sensations, she will also be reuniting with Jae-suk after their previous variety stint in Village Survival, the Eight, yet again helmed by Jung Cheol-min.
Lee Jung-ha
The Moving Kdrama star exudes his effervescently endearing energy that has helped him secure a soft spot in the hearts of the global audience. Herein, he also qualifies as the ‘maknae’ of the group.
