TJMM, the initials left behind by Luv Ranjan, the director well-known for his eccentric stories like Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, now have a title – Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Ranjan teased the fans with the upcoming Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer flick’s title by opening it up for a guessing game prior to its announcement. Leaving the acronym TJMM open for speculations, he let his followers try their hand at it and which eventually formed a hilarious trail of conjectures. On December 14, 2022, the full title was finally revealed in another video release by T-Series.
The Hindi movie is set to be a festive release next year, adding colours to our life. It also marks the first onscreen union of both the leading actors, and it also welcomes Boney Kapoor, making his acting debut, as Ranbir Kapoor’s father in the film. From the looks of it, the movie already seems like its going to make room for a rib-tickling session in cinemas.
In addition to directing the film, Luv Ranjan will also be stepping up as the producer alongside Ankur Garg, going hand in hand with the presentation by T- Series’ Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. Although the filmmaker has been working on this movie for a while, and it was eventually delayed due to the pandemic, the first few teasers have already caused quite a stir among the fans. Dimple Kapadia is also joining the project along with the aforementioned actors.
Prior to the romantic comedy, Ranbir last appeared in Shamshera alongside Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor and others, and Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva with Alia Bhatt. On the other hand, Shraddha was last seen in Street Dancer 3D (2020) with Varun Dhawan and Baaghi 3 opposite Tiger Shroff.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is set for its theatrical release on the upcoming Holi, March 8, 2023 in cinemas.
