Troll Plot/Synopsis

The official synopsis of the film reads, “When an explosion in the Norwegian mountains awakens an ancient troll, officials appoint a fearless palaeontologist to stop it from wreaking deadly havoc.” Deep inside the mountain of Dovre, something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years.

Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore? The trailer starts off with what seems like a natural disaster (earthquake) of high intensity being felt by the residents of a place. But soon they find half of their house torn apart by something unknown, perhaps a giant monster?

News breaks out everywhere and only those who have faced the giant, truly know what they are standing in front of. Soon the catastrophe takes national interest and a group of appointed individuals must figure out a way to save their people before more destruction wreaks havoc.
