On April 18th, 2025, South Korean boy band TREASURE’s Haruto Flash MV was released, marking his solo debut, which shows how he has evolved from being just a rapper. In this song, he brings in a cool vibe that matches his voice and the atmosphere in the song, captivating the audience right from the start. The song shows his versatile talents and brings the spotlight to the same, bringing viewers a better look at the boy band’s member.
Haruto is a Japanese rapper and lyricist under YG Entertainment and is part of the South Korean boy band TREASURE. He made his solo debut with a single that is a gift for fans for all the love they showered on him on his 21st birthday, which was on April 5th, 2025. Showing off his unique charm, this song brings a breath of fresh air for his fans as they see another side of the idol.
FLASH is already receiving positive feedback from listeners as they wish to support the idol better, asking for the song to be released on other platforms as well. The rapper has left fans stunned with this talent, and they now hope to see more solo projects from him in the near future. With this, let us take a look at the review that we have of the music video.
TREASURE’s Haruto FLASH MV Review
Seeing boy band members shine while showing their individual talent is always a pleasure, and Haruto’s talent is surely something that deserves this spotlight. Listening to his deep, captivating vocals while he raps away in a music video that matches his voice and the vibe of the song. The dark, cinematic experience he brings in this song is unlike anything we have seen before, and this new wave is what enchants the viewer further. The song holds onto this vibe and the colours from start to end, but also manages to bring in some good edits that keep the audience intrigued.
The beats of this song are surely another thing that we need to talk about. While it may seem a little messy in the beginning, it soon turns around and begins to settle in a way that it will take you up into the storm that it is creating. I love how the beats move with his speed, which brings in a harmony that is hard to escape. The way everything comes together in terms of the song is intriguing, beautiful and a reflection of the idol.
Moving on, we have to talk about the edits that have been done in the music video. There is a vibe in these edits that reflects the fleeting moments Haruto is talking about through the lyrics. I love how every bit of this music video brings out these meanings and doesn’t stray far away from what it is bringing to the listeners. The edits may seem a little too much or even all over the place, but when viewed properly, you will see that these too have a meaning that is in line with the song.
Altogether, this song has certainly got me more intrigued in the talented idol and shifted our focus onto him as an individual. While this is a birthday present from him to the fans, it is surely worth being streamed on other platforms as well.
