Without further ado, let us look at the top 6 Summer Anime Series.

Top 6 Summer Anime Series (July 2024)

Oshi no Ko Season 2

This is the new season for the much-awaited Seinen anime Oshi No Ko. Written by the same author of Kaguya-sama: Love is War, this anime is a breath of fresh air that talks about the dark side of the Japanese entertainment industry.

The show masterfully blends Supernatural drama with comedy and mystery and presents a unique tale of two siblings who remember their past lives. Not only that, but they are the children of one of the most beloved idols of the industry, sixteen-year-old Ai Hoshino.

But how can they survive in this world, when their mother is the biggest thing in the world of showbiz?

Tower of God 2nd Season

The Korean action, adventure anime is finally back, and hopefully, we will get explanations for all the unanswered questions of the first season. In this installment, we will see a new hero, Ja Wangnan. He will struggle to advance beyond the 20th floor and will repeatedly fall but never lose hope.

During his quest, he encounters Viole, a mysterious and powerful figure. Wangnan invites Viole to join his team of Regulars, and together, they face new and constant challenges on their journey.

Suicide Squad Isekai

Yes, you read that right, we are indeed getting a Suicide Squad anime, that too, in the Isekai setting.

Amanda Waller, head of A.R.G.U.S., gathers a team of notorious criminals including the infamous Harley Quinn and others, for a dangerous mission. They’re sent through a gate to an otherworldly realm filled with swords, magic, rampaging orcs, and dragons.

After going wild upon arrival, they’re captured by the kingdom’s soldiers and imprisoned. Now, they have only 72 hours before the bombs in their necks detonate.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest

Rejoice Fairy Tail fans for we have finally achieved a continuation of the beloved series that ended on a pretty low note. Many of us were disappointed with how this franchise turned out towards the end and were glad when a spin-off was announced.

The story takes place 1 year after the actual manga ended, and here we see how the 100 Years Quest is a difficult mission that no one has completed in over a century. But Natsu Dragneel and his friends decide to take it on. Meanwhile, a new and energetic member named Touka joins the Fairy Tail guild, but she may be hiding something.

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian

This one is an absolute must romcom in a sea of Isekai Shounen shows. It talks about Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou, a strikingly beautiful half-Russian, half-Japanese student. She is the idol of her school with her silver hair, blue eyes, and flawless complexion.

But, despite her popularity, her aloof demeanour keeps others at a distance, except for her bench mate Masachika Kuze. He is your quintessential average boy who enjoys anime and gacha games. Sparks fly between them because Kuze is the only one who can see through the Tsundere facade of Alisa.

No Longer Allowed In Another World

We have another Isekai with cute girls and adventures, but the hero is not someone who is thrilled with this. You must have heard about the tragic and melancholic Japanese writer, who took his own life. Well, he is the one who got Isekaid, but Osamu Dazai would rather die than relive.

Transported to a fantasy realm in 1948, before video games even existed, Dazai finds his poetic quest for the perfect death constantly thwarted by the whimsical dangers and adventures he encounters. Despite his efforts to end it all, he somehow always ends up surviving. A sad outcome for him indeed.

Let us know which one you will watch and we should cover for our anime reviews.
