Spider-Man: No Way Home Confirmed for 2021 Release, New Poster Out!

For the past few days, reports have stated that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home is not releasing in 2021. With various leaks and no sign of a second trailer, various websites and fans speculated that the MCU film would hit the cinemas next year. Well, it looks like all that was nothing but rumours.

Today, the official Twitter handle of Spider-Man revealed a new poster. Along with the poster, the account shared that Holland’s film will release on December 17, 2021, in theatres.

Spider-Man: No Way Home captioned the tweet, “The Multiverse unleashed. #SpiderManNoWayHome is exclusively in movie theaters December 17.” We see Tom’s Spider-Man in the superhero mode with Doctor Ock’s tentacles around him in the poster. In the background, there’s a shadow that looks like Green Goblin.

MCU knows that their fans are obsessed with zooming in on every possible detail and finding clues. For the past one year, there have been reports about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield joining the multiversal saga in Spider-Man 3. So the account teased fans by writing, “go ahead, zoom in on those details ????”.

The film is directed by Jon Watts and stars Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alfred Molina, Harry Holland, Jamie Foxx, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon, JK Simmons, and Tony Revolori. The film is being said to be the last solo Spider-Man movie for Tom. Whether or not he will be there in other MCU films in future is unknown.
