Today’s Webtoon (오늘의 웹툰) is a 2022 Korean Coming-of-age Drama based on a Japanese Manga named Juhan Shuttai! by Naoko Matsuda. The series features Kim Se-jeong, Choi Daniel and Nam Yoon-su in leading roles. The series runs for 16 episodes and Today’s Webtoon Episode 6 has a runtime of 66 minutes.

In Today’s Webtoon Episode 6, Ma-eum returns to work after telling her father that she wants to become an office worker and does not want to compete in tournaments anymore. The webtoon page has been removed from the homepage of NEON due to the low sales which adds more to Man-chul’s worries. Gu Seul-a has started working on her project and is happy about it. She calls Ma-eum and asks her for a lunch meetup. Seul-a thanks Ma-eum for the support and apologizes to her for going to another producer. She suddenly gets a call from Kwon PD and he tells her to change the appearance of the character within the same deadline. Seul-a panics and runs home.
Seo Ji-hyung visits artist Bae as he has been falling behind his regular schedule and wants to know his progress. Artist Bae has been learning to draw digitally and often needs help from his assistants. Dong-hee has been his assistant for the longest time and he doesn’t like Dae-ryuk for his rude behaviour. Dong-hee often looks down on himself and Dae-ryuk often tells him to not think negatively about himself as words have power and they make things come true. Dong-hee always talks about him not debuting but Dae-ryuk is positive that he will debut before Dong-hee.

Heo has told Jun-yeong to give him reports on the webtoon team. So, he emails the entire team data on his personal address, though hesitantly. Ji-hyung gets a call from the security team about this breach and he asks Jun-yeong for an explanation. Jun-yeong tells him that he wanted to study the team and Ji-hyung just tells him to take it easy and follow the protocols. He gives him the task of getting hundred comic books signed from Pomme but seeing the box, Ma-eum volunteers to carry it for Jun-yeong. Ji-hyung has been seeing both of them hanging out together a lot and wonders what is going on between them.

Seul-a has been working non-stop to revise the work before the deadline and hasn’t slept for a while. Ma-eum gives her a surprise visit but finds her unconscious in her bedroom. She takes her to the hospital and Seul-a insists on going back to work but the doctor has advised her complete bed rest. Ma-eum goes back to the office and argues with Kwon for overworking Seul-a. Kwon proposes they replace Seul-a and Ma-eum tells him off for stealing her artist and trying to ruin Seul-a’s career. Man-chul stops their argument and tells Kwon to extend the deadline and Ji-hyung asks Ma-eum to meet him later.
Today’s Webtoon Episode 6 Ending
Ji-hyung takes Ma-eum to talk over a drink and Jun-yeong joins them. Ma-eum had crossed her boundaries while talking with Kwon earlier. He is her senior and Jun-yeong adds that he is also the best producer in the company. Though he is infamous for his behaviour, he brings the most revenue to the team. Jun-yeong has actually studied and analysed the team data. Ji-hyung adds that Kwon was once as passionate as Ma-eum but he changed after Gingertoon closed and his wife divorced him. After that, he stopped bringing emotions into the work and only works to make money.
Today’s Webtoon Episode 6 Review
Today’s Webtoon Episode 6 gives an insight into Kwon PD’s life especially. His demeanour is known to be nasty but he was never like that, to begin with. He is the one who never gave up on the webtoon team after getting hurt the most. The rookie producers have a lot to learn yet
