Today’s Webtoon (오늘의 웹툰) is a 2022 Korean Coming-of-age Drama based on a Japanese Manga named Juhan Shuttai! by Naoko Matsuda. The series features Kim Se-jeong, Choi Daniel and Nam Yoon-su in leading roles. The series runs for 16 episodes and Today’s Webtoon Episode 13 7 14 have a runtime of 68 minutes.

Today’s Webtoon Episode 13 brings in a surprise as Jun-yeong admits to Ji-hyung that he had been providing the internal data of the webtoon service team to director Heo. Ji-hyung doesn’t want Jun-yeong to do something as risky as this but Jun-yeong wants to help his team and more so, he wants to help Ma-eum. However, Ma-eum has misunderstood the situation but keeps quiet about it. Jun-yeong lies to her instead of telling her the truth.

Troubles don’t stop for the webtoon team as artist Moh declines their business proposal yet again and Shin Dae-ryuk runs away from his meeting with the director who wants to convert his webtoon into a web series. The director guesses the hidden motive behind Dae-ryuk’s webtoon correctly. However, Dae-ryuk has a trauma from his childhood and the director puts his finger on the right spot. Ma-eum is scared to see the other side of Dae-ryuk and wonders if she can handle him.
Artist Na’s girlfriend calls Ma-eum to stop her boyfriend from signing the contract with YoungToon but artist Na announces that he will stop drawing webtoons all the way because his girlfriend, Han-seul is pregnant. The webtoon team comes up with an idea to open an affiliate company to NEON which produces webtoons with artist Na as the lead. YoungToon already has artist Moh and bringing artist Na as their competitor has a big chance for the webtoon team to save their position in NEON. Artist Na accepts the offer only when Jang Man-chul joins him as the co-CEO of the company. Na wants to spend more and more time with his girlfriend and his yet-to-be-born baby.

Dae-ryuk hasn’t been able to draw after his interaction with the director. To add to his trouble, his mother visits him out of the blue and his trauma resurfaces. In another case, a man writes a post on a social forum about Sin Dae-ryuk harassing his girlfriend and assaulting him. This puts NEON in a difficult position as director Heo pushes to discard the webtoon team, not even subtly this time. However, Ma-eum’s sister helps them unexpectedly. She requests her YouTube subscribers to post the videos showing that Sin Dae-ryuk was the one who got assaulted. Her strategy works and Dae-ryuk’s status is back to normal. This is a bad signal for Heo as NEON files a lawsuit.
Today’s Webtoon Episode 14 Ending
Shin Dae-ryuk had desperately asked Ma-eum to help him so that he will not lose his mind and become a bad person. Ma-eum finds out what had happened to Dae-ryuk in the past. She meets his mom who is desperate to tell him something to Dae-ryuk something because she has dementia and wants to say it before she completely loses her memories. Thanks to Ma-eum, Dae-ryuk finds out the reason behind why he lived in fear all these years. It was never his mother’s fault and Dae-ryuk is finally at peace with himself.
The NEON webtoon team had many things go wrong but not anymore. Things have started working in their favour and director Heo’s ill intentions are slowly coming to light. He is not looking for the benefit of NEON but for YoungToon. He has a special relationship with the CEO of YoungToon but the CEO of NEON has also noticed Heo’s adamant behaviour about the webtoon team is suspicious.
