Tiku Weds Sheru Ending Explained: This dark satirical film with a dash of rom-com brings the lives of two quirky dreamers with a wish to hit it big in the city of dreams. Directed and written by Sai Kabir, the film is produced by actor Kangana Ranaut and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in lead roles.
The plot of Tiku Weds Sheru revolves around two eccentric characters who wish to make it big in the city of dreams- Mumbai. However, they soon find themselves surrounded by one problem after another which leads them to find something more meaningful in life.
Tiku Weds Sheru Ending Explained
After the imprisonment of Sheru, Tiku finds out the truth about her husband who claimed to be a financer of films. She is devastated by the truth and confronts Sheru. Following this, she decides to break all ties with him and proclaims that she will now become a superstar all by herself.
However, reality soon hits her when she soon finds out that the world of glamour is not easy to enter. She is then tricked into prostitution by Raza who promises to give her a chance to debut, only for it to be a lie created to please one of his clients. Tiku is devastated by this but has no choice but to return home.

There she finds her uncle waiting to take her back to Bhopal after the news of Sheru’s imprisonment made its way back home. However, Tiku is not ready to return and escapes through the alleys, soon losing them behind. She later returns home, but this is not the end of her troubles when goons arrive at her home and break the news that Sheru had mortgaged the house to a gangster.
Tiku is devastated and makes her way to the gangster Shahid’s home to get his help in bringing Sheru out of prison. Witnessing her desperation, he puts forth a deal to get Sheru out in exchange for having her become an entertainer for his guests at an upcoming party.
Tiku understands what he means and reluctantly agrees to this deal while Anand notices what is happening. Meanwhile, Sheru gets out of prison and meets Anand who tells him what Shahid is making his wife do. This leaves him stunned as he asks for Anand’s help in bringing his wife out from the mire she has been thrown into.
Later, Tiku puts on a dancer’s outfit and begins her part of the deal when midway through her performance, Sheru arrives dressed as a woman and gives her the courage needed to get through the situation. He brings support to her at this moment with a security that is like a silent promise from him to her.

Suddenly, guns are fired and chaos spreads among the gangsters who begin fighting with each other. With Anand too taking part in firing a few rounds of shots at the mafias present, Tiku and Sheru make their way out of the chaos holding hands and just like any other background character in a thrilling scene.
The scene then changes to that of a monochromatic setting wherein the two share the woes of dreamers who enter this city of dreams. The hopes that shatter each day and the sobs of those who are unable to let out loud cries that build another side of this city.
The two are still junior actors in a movie, who work together with hopes to make a movie of their own. As the two discuss talking with the studio workers in front of them, their dreams and optimism once again rise for a better tomorrow.
