Thicker Than Water (Jusqu’ici tout va bien) is an upcoming French thriller series which revolves around a journalist who gets engulfed with major drug lords while protecting her brother.

Thicker Than Water Cast

The series stars Nawell Madani, Djebril Zonga, Paola Locatelli, Paul Hamy, Vincent Rottiers, Kahina Carina, Mayane Sarah El Baze, and Aida Ghechoud in prominent roles. Moreover, Simon Jablonka and Nawell Madani also serve as the writer of the series.

The story of the series follows a journalist who is on the brink of making it big in her career. One day, she gets a visit from the authorities, who are on the lookout for his shady brother, involved in some illegal drug business. Though she is hesitant at first, the journalist decides to help out her brother before he gets himself into some deep trouble. However, things venture completely south and the Journalist finds herself stuck amidst the dangerous world of drug and shady crimes.

As she tries to get herself and her brother out of this situation, she must deal with the repercussions of the underworld, including confrontations with drug lords. Moreover,  the journalist tries to hide her involvement in the case, before it eventually destroys her career. But the more she gets entangled, the more dangerous it becomes.

As the time runs out, she must find a way to expose the truth before it’s too late. The consequences of her actions act heavily on her, both professionally and personally. Moreover, she may either remove herself and her family from the drug business, or she may pay a high price for her involvement in the deal.

The journalist’s involvement in the drug business not only sabotages her career but also puts a strain on her relationships with her loved ones. She is forced to make difficult choices, all the while trying to protect those closest to her.

Despite the risks, she refuses to back down and keeps pushing forward, driven by her desire to clear her name. But as she gets closer to the truth, she realizes that she has put herself in some uncharted areas. The drug lords she’s investigating will stop at nothing to protect their business, and she must be careful not to get caught in their dark web.

Furthermore, as of now, there are no details regarding the number of episodes in the show. However, the average runtime of each instalment will be around 30-40 minutes.
