The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3 Review
The Zone: Survival Mission Season 3 begins with the return of the members Yoo Jae-suk and Kwon Yu-ri who speak about their previous seasons, and then talk about Lee Kwang-soo’s absence from this season. Soon, they are joined by the new members Kim Dong-hyun and Dex, who are unaware of what is to come to them.
Before we move on to the zone they are sent to, a brief about this show; members are sent to manmade simulations wherein they are to experience the impending disasters faced by people for 4 hours. While the simulations usually start on a softer note, they soon turn into a challenge where the members need to survive to complete their mission.
Soon, they are sent to the first zone, named the AI Zone, which is said to be a special treat to Jae-suk. Curious about what this means, Jae-suk soon enters a world where he is king as everyone looks like him and everyone is a robotic version of him. This has everyone surprised, but after a smooth start where they enjoyed the fun side of this zone, everything goes red.

The AI captures the negative comments about the Jae-suk robots in the zone and soon turns to consider them their enemies whose watches need to be taken away. Soon, the members begin running around trying to save their watches and later trying to get them back while using Jae-sook to help them open various doors where his biometrics are needed.
After a few rounds of the same, Jae-suk is also put on the red list when he is seen harming the robots while saving his friends. This brings more chaos as everyone begins running and being chased, only to end up failing the mission when all their watches are taken away. With this, the members are taken back and told that this time, the Z coins collected by them will be turned into prize money.
Having lost their first mission, the members are filled with a new zeal for their next mission which is the Break Zone. Surprised by the name, the members are told that they are to enter a house made for them and spend the next 4 hours completing the mission explained inside.

Upon entering, the members are surprised to see that the house is made of paper and they are to pay for the loan taken for the house. The members begin to look around the house and find money hidden in every nook and corner which they begin collecting. They even find some lottery tickets and gold leafs which can be used to repay the loan.
However, the first instalment is late and part of the house is taken away, which shocks the members and they begin collecting money once again. By the end of their 4 hours, most of the paper house is torn apart while the members suffer from the cold winds and look back to what was once a pretty little house.
Finally, the members are sent to the third zone which is the Fact Check Zone, wherein they need to enter a haunted resort and confirm if rumours about it being haunted are true. Combining horror with comedy, the members’ adventure through the resort leaves us jumping and laughing while they reveal the truth behind the haunting of the resort.

As the horror reaches its peak, the members quickly reveal the truth and find out that there is no haunting and it is all made up, emphasizing the chaos rumours can cause. The entertainment world is filled with rumours and these can cause immense problems to many, thus, it is important to not join the herd and listen to what is being said without confirming the facts.
