Before we tell you more about these zones, here’s what the show is all about. The Zone Survival Mission brings the focus of its audience to manmade disasters that need our attention. Bringing the hosts in the result of what these disasters would do to our future, the show brings entertainment along with important lessons for us all.

Coming back to the episodes today, the first zone of the day was the Stress Zone which brought the focus on mental health and the need to pay attention to the stress we face each day. As the members face stressful situations in the form of horrifying simulations, we see their stress affect the lifespan designated to each one of them.

Following the lockdown, stress has been affecting people all around the world. However, this hasn’t opened people to the adverse effects of stress and how it degenerates the body. The Stress Zone brings our focus on this while putting the trio in a haunted hospital which also brings back memories of one of the best episodes from the previous season.

Next, we were taken to the Save Zone which first came under the disguise of the Sports Zone wherein the members are invited to play golf. The trio were taken to the Puldeung sand island which completely submerges in the seawater at any given moment, and the members were given the task to reduce their time on the island.

As the trio faces the race against time, the island soon completely submerged under water and brought our attention to the melting glaciers due to global warming. Many islands around the world are facing this very situation and it is the same for the people inhabiting them. If we do not take action to save our glaciers then this is the situation that we too will face very soon while losing out on many tourist destinations beside the sea.

Finally, we were brought to the third zone of the day, the Automatic Zone. Taking the audience to KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), the set is definitely not one that is easy to come by for anyone. The trio is placed on an AI bed that takes them around the campus while defying their orders most of the time.

The AI bed takes them for a ride in a lake, crashing a wedding, in the middle of a football game, to the cafeteria and finally, to a lecture that is led by the trio. However, this fun-filled yet embarrassing ride focuses on our dependency on AI devices and the setbacks which bring such situations. Thus, the importance of the students who are the future of science is focused upon because the need for development never stops.

Summing Up: The Zone Survival Mission Season 2 Episodes 1-3

The Zone Survival Mission is a variety show that brings a wonderful balance between creating awareness and keeping the entertainment at the top. Season 1 was definitely unforgettable for us all, however, Season 2 has already shown that it is not going to fall behind.

The season has come with better simulations altogether, and even better ideas that we cannot help relate to. On the other hand, this season has already left me laughing out loud from day 1 and left me excited for the upcoming weeks.

Another amazing season that is worth streaming!
