Siren’s Kiss Ending Explained

Eun-hyuk appeared to be Seol-ah’s only family and her sole comfort. But beneath his kindness, a long-awaited confession waited. When the truth comes out, the perception Seol-ah had of him completely collapses. Eun-hyuk is the reason why all of Seol-ah’s past lovers ended up dead. Eun-hyuk believes that the only way he can morally protect Seol-ah is that all her lovers only wanted to harm or betray her.

Eun-hyuk explains it all to Woo-seok, being tied to the chair, given that he is going to murder the latter next. Woo-seok, who clearly understands how obsessed Eun-hyuk is with Seol-ah, his entire moral distortion confuses him. Seol-ah, who overhears everything, completely shatters. The person whom she trusted the most ended up killing all the men in her life. Even though her former boyfriends were obsessed, committed adultery and all nonsense, Seol-ah never thought any harm of them. But whenever they died, she felt like she was a curse to them.

After Eun-hyuk reveals the truth to Woo-seok, he takes out his gun to end him for good. That’s when Seol-ah comes in and begs Eun-hyuk to stop. But Eun-hyuk, who is already consumed by obsession, pulls the trigger, but Seol-ah throws herself and takes the bullet. Seol-ah is thankfully saved, and Eun-hyuk is arrested after he confesses the truth to the cops with hopes that Seol-ah won’t be jailed.

However, his confession doesn’t end. Seol-ah visits Eun-hyuk in prison, and that’s when he reveals the biggest crime. He killed Seol-ah’s parents. Yes, the fire happened because Eun-hyuk started it after he witnessed Seol-ah collapse on the floor and her parents’ preparing to end their lives. Hoping that she’ll get their insurance money, Eun-hyuk sets them on fire and saves Seol-ah. Witnessing this, Sun-ae threatens Eun-hyuk that she will reveal the incident. In exchange, she makes Eun-hyuk her pawn.
