The Zone Survival Mission is an all-new variety show that is here to make you laugh like no other, but that is not the only thing that it does. Directed by Cho Hyojin and Kim Dongjin, starring the Running Man series Lee Kwang-soo and Yoo Jae-suk along with Kwon Yuri.
The Zone Survival Mission takes the players to different zones with a specific stimulation that triggers challenges for the group. All they have to do is survive for four hours in the disaster-simulated virtual space.

IN A DISASTER-SIMULATED VIRTUAL SPACE, MEMBERS HAVE TO SURVIVE FOUR HOURS IN THE UNKNOWN.

After having failed to survive in three simulations, The Zone Survival Mission episode 6 brings the team to a fun place where they can party and have fun. With a cash prize of 100 million won, they are asked to safeguard the money for the next four hours without spending it.
The three finally enter the Money Zone and it is definitely not as easy as it seemed. Entering the high-end club-like place, the players cannot help but get fascinated by the place and get inside a dance club where the beats pump up their blood as they take part in a dance battle. Upon winning third place and a cash price of 11 million won, they are unable to contain their joy.

However, it is them when the manager arrives and bills them an obnoxious 13.5 million won for the time that they have spent inside the club. Shocked, they leave the place right after paying him the money and make their way to the play area in front of the dance club.
Intrigued by the Circle or Luck, they cannot stop themselves from betting their money to rotate the circle and hit the jackpot. But luck doesn’t come easy and having spent more than 10 million won, they finally decide to leave.
They then enter the Game Lounge where a set of five games await them to bet their money. The nerve-wracking games begin as they all take turns to test their luck with various games that make them gamble most of their money away. Going through a time of fluctuating emotions, the manager once again appears and charges them the fee for using the lounge which finally makes the three leave this area.
Their next stop is the pool party taking place on the top floor which brings joy to them once again and they shake a leg while going through a series of games to earn more money. After having all the fun, they take a quick break to satisfy their hunger before once again making their way back to the game lounge.
Now with just 30 million won left, they divide the money and begin another round of gambling with their luck. Lee Kwang-soo and Yoo Jae-suk once again lose their money and can only count on Kwon Yuri to help them put, and she does save the day.

However, they don’t stop and continue gambling with their money and luck which leaves Jae-suk with the last 10 million won. With just 20 more minutes to survive, Kwang-soo and Yuri tell him not to gamble any longer, but he wants to test his luck once again. Taking on a nerve-wracking last bet, he unfortunately loses and the team once again fail this zone.
Coming back to the pavilion, the AI tells us all that this was the Money Zone and showed us how life-enriching money can create serious problems like gambling. Their mission was to just have fun inside the simulation, however, the pleasure of gambling pulled the three players so deep that they ended up losing all their money.
Summing Up: The Zone Survival Mission Episode 6
This was one stressful episode because we as viewers can also feel our palms sweating as the player gambled in the Game Lounge. I have to say that this was a very educational episode too which thought us how gambling can easily turn into an addiction that we cannot easily get over.
Yoo Jae-suk was the real model of someone who can easily gain a gambling addiction and put all his money on the line for a slim chance to earn more. Altogether, this was one really good episode that cannot be missed and is a must watch!
