The Tailor Season 3 Ending Explained: The Turkish drama series (Terzi) season 3 premiered on November 3, 2023, on Netflix. The series stars Çagatay Ulusoy in the lead role alongside Sifanur Gül, Olgun Simsek, Berrak Tuzunatac, Salih Bademci and more. Created by Cem Karci, the story is written by Gülseren Budayicioglu, and the screenplay is given by Rana Mamatlioglu and Bekir Baran Sitki. Season 3 comprises 8 episodes, each with a run time of 30-40 minutes.

In the beginning of the third season, Peyami is very busy with his work and travels to different places around the world, all to make himself distracted from Esvet’s thoughts. After a long trip, he decides to come back home early to surprise his family. One day, when Dimitri and Esvet visit Peyami to welcome him back, he shares his plans regarding making shoes and other accessories for women. Then, Dimitri suggests that Peyami should take Esvet’s advice on creating these products before mentioning that he and Esvet are going to move to New York. This upsets Peyami and Kiraz understands her son’s love for Esvet.

When Peyami talks privately with Esvet, he asks her if she really wants to move away with Dimitri. But Esvet seems to have given up on the idea of being with Peyami and is committed to Dimitri. In order to stop Esvet from moving, Kiraz and Mustafa come up with a plan and reveal their wedding plans. This halts their journey. During the wedding reception, Peyami and Esvet get involved in an alluring dance that makes Esvet’s heart beat once again for him.

They start a secret relationship behind Dimitri’s back. Dimitri becomes worried when he suspects that Esvet might be cheating on him with Peyami. However, he fails to find any evidence of their affair, so he blames his father, Ari, for making him doubt things.

Peyami and Esvet wish to come clean but the opportunity doesn’t come. Later, Ari gathers evidence of their affair and shows it to Dimitri. Dimitri becomes furious and confronts his father, thinking he is trying to deceive him once again. Unfortunately, during their argument, Ari gets seriously hurt and dies in the hospital. Peyami helps cover up Dimitri’s involvement in Ari’s death. But Dimitri is still convinced that Peyami and Esvet are lying to him and plans to confront them after his father’s funeral.

Dimitri discovers that Peyami and Esvet are secretly seeing each other again which makes him very upset, and he decides to have a dinner with them at a remote warehouse. During dinner, Dimitri admits that he was shown proof of Peyami and Esvet’s relationship by his father, Ari before he passed away. This revelation breaks Dimitri’s heart because he feels betrayed by the two people he cares about the most.

Dimitri who fails to handle the pain of this betrayal, sets up a time bomb in the warehouse, intending to kill all three of them. However, as Dimitri and Peyami talk, they reminisce about their childhood leading Dimitri to realise Esvet is best with Peyami and not him. Dimitri lets them both go and dies in the explosion.

After some time, Esvet and Peyami visit a place in the woods where Dimitri used to hide as a child. Over there, they find a letter from Dimitri, apologizing for his actions and revealing important information about Esvet’s real parents. In the end, we see that Peyami and Esvent have moved to the farm where Peyami grew up and are starting a new life together.

However, Dimitri isn’t really dead. Towards the end when Peyami and Esvet are shown discussing about their future, a mysterious figure watches them from afar. It is revealed that it is Dimitri who has survived the explosion with one eye and a burned face. He is surely not ready to let them two live peacefully for he hasn’t avenged his pain.
