The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 7 and 8

Our girls were thriving when we last saw them in episode 5 and 6 and, the wait for every two episodes every week seems too long. However, the way the seventh and the eighth episode has turned out to be, it seems like it was worth the wait.

The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 7 is titled The Essex College Food Workers Strike, where we start off exactly where we left off in the previous episode- sex! But, this time the detailed noises are from Kimberely, who is clearly enjoying her love life with Jackson. Meanwhile, Leighton is finding it hard to up her game with Tatum around as she feels that Tatum is way cooler than she is. Problems stretch to the core with Bela’s cheating scandal with Dan in the last episode and not everything goes according to plan.

The one thing that wasn’t in the plan but, really smoothly makes its way into the story is Whitney and Andrew’s spark. The core of the seventh episode also lies in Kimberely and other students protesting to increase their wages and Whitney’s mother, a senator making a visit and supporting the cause, which again does not exactly the way one would anticipate.

The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 8 focuses on Leighton trying to come out to her father, a segment that takes a flippy turn. Meanwhile, for Bela and Kimberely, self-doubt creeps in as the former bringing in a new friend (Priya) on the campus puts them in an odd spot and for the latter her relationship with Jackson makes her doubt certain things. Whitney and Andrew’s story, on the other hand, takes an interesting turn where love and lust collide.

The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 7 and 8: Final Thoughts

The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 2 Episode 7 and 8 are very carefully navigated through. Like always, we have the makers shed light on things of utter importance ranging from pay scale to relationships, mental health, being gay and more. But, the way the eighth episode ends is really interesting as, unlike the previous episodes, it has an opening end which brings in some characters that will only mess the present up.

So far, the show has been floating smoothly without much drama and has been doing a good job at that too. But, the upcoming episodes might make nasty love the centre of this grail we drink from every Thursday.
