The Queen Who Crowns Fans Discuss Their Shattering Hopes and Crazy Characters

The Queen Who Crowns Fans Discuss: The Queen Who Crowns (원경) finishes another week of intense political drama, heartbreaks, betrayal, and plotting that has us convinced that this is a show that cannot be missed out on. As the tension between the queen and the king continues to head towards a mess that is going to bring chaos (and more heartbreak), fans are getting into a heated discussion over the King’s stupidity, the Queen’s wisdom, and more.

The plot of the show follows a young woman who goes against all odds to make her husband the later king. However, when the King begins to take multiple concubines and create a tense atmosphere within the palace, it is time for her to fight once again for her survival. As palace politics begin playing around, a stunning plot unfolds for viewers. Directed by Kim Sang-ho, the drama stars Cha Joo-young, Lee Hyun-wook, Lee Yi-dam, Lee Shi-ah, Choi Deok-moon, Park Yong-u and other cast members.

The show has once again seen some intense twists that are hard to get over. With the Queen’s charisma continuing to rise, fans cannot stop talking about how amazing she is. Cha Joo-young is shining as this historical character and setting up a new standard for others in the industry with the way she plays the role of the queen. She has definitely won the hearts of fans of the genre with her performance and we are also loving the way this queen has been written.

While the Queen’s charisma continues to woo us away, the King’s character also begins to see mixed reactions from the fans. The couple is truly confusing the fans with their “love” which is shown in ways that are hard to understand. The way these two are playing things out is not ordinary and with the upcoming chaos, things are only getting more twisted. Altogether, the show has already brought us to the edge of our seats in the first half.

Next week, the second half of the show is set to begin and we are barely ready for another round of this rollercoaster. However, left with no choice but to pick ourselves up, we are ready for what the new episodes are going to bring to the screen. The chaos has only just begun, so let’s be ready for the next chapter.

While these emotions continue to fill up the air for the drama watchers, there is a heated discussion going around the internet that is hard to miss. A fan on Reddit writes, “The power dynamics in this drama are quite interesting. The characters are multi-layered and make mistakes and have weaknesses like any human being, none of them are really villains or heroes. A very interesting drama and so far my favourite of the year.”

Meanwhile, another comment on MyDramaList says, “In episode 5, it’s evident that the king’s new concubine is clearly taking the dominant role in the bedroom, and the king shows no objection to it. However, when the queen exhibits similar behavior, it becomes an issue. This shows a clear hypocrisy on the king’s part. He is unable to suppress the queen’s strength outside of the bedroom, so instead, he seeks to humiliate her within it.”

“This drama has only Main Character… There’s no Male or Female Lead, the Queen is the only character this drama exist and the King so arrogant and self-righteous full of self-esteem. The Queen deserves a good Male Lead but in here she’s so unfortunate” writes another fan on the internet and we cannot object with it because the Queen is truly one of the best characters this year.

This is just the beginning because we’ve got more from different media platforms to share with you. With this, let’s begin!
