Altogether, the premiere week has been a hit and we are eagerly waiting for the upcoming chaos in the show.
The Potato Lab (감자연구소) follows the office romance between a potato researcher and a newly appointed director of the research institute. While the researcher vows to never have an office romance, the charm of the director is something even she can’t avoid. But what will be the result of this office romance?
Returning to the exciting reactions of fans on the internet, well they aren’t just laughing after watching Kang Tae-ho tumbling through the potato fields but are also stunned by the chemistry between him and Lee Sun-bin. The two are truly bringing us some of the best rom-com moments, along with a stroke of weirdness that we cannot stop loving.
As one fan writes, “Hahahaha this drama is insanely good! I have had the time of my life while watching #ThePotatoLabep1 but this scene was the IT moment for me! I can see why he chose this drama as his comeback project and I am so glad he did! His comedic timing is just so GOOD #ThePotatoLab”
And of course, we cannot miss out on the comment about how well So Baek-ho (Kang Taeoh) is using his face card as one viewer writes, “#ThePotatoLabEp1 showed some good potential. It’s kooky and charming, and #KangTaeoh is serving face cards in every scene. I’m willing to give #ThePotatoLab the benefit of the doubt to see if it brings something new to the genre. The FL seems to have an interesting backstory too.”
While episode 1 had many fans talking, episode 2 hit them once again as it only ensured that fans would be stuck to this show until the end. Seeing Bae-ho’s interaction with the villagers, the team and Kim Mi-gyeong further intrigued us all and now we know that this show is something we all would be looking forward to.
“After watching #ThePotatoLabEp2, I’m officially adding it to my CW list. It’s unserious and, like I said before, a bit charming. I just hope the FL tones it down soon, but I get her behavior after dating such a snake of a guy. #ThePotatoLab #KangTaeOh #LeeSunbin” writes a viewer on X (formerly known as Twitter) showing their love for the show.
