The Most Beautiful Flower, aka La flor más bella is a brand new series premiering on Netflix. The show is created by Michelle Rodríguez and Fernanda Eguiarte Hernández. The genre of the series is a comedy, and it originated and was filmed in Mexico. The series will consist of 10 episodes with a total runtime of 30 minutes each.

The Netflix Synopsis of the show reads:

Curvy, curly, confident Mich knows she’s fabulous. Now she just has to convince everyone else at her Xochimilco high school to believe it too

The trailer of the series opens by introducing Mich, a curvy, short girl with curly hair who is not up to the beauty standards that society has set for us. Right off the bat, it is figured that she wants to be popular and known by everyone in her school. Her journey to popularity and fame begins with her getting into messy situations, which ultimately bring trouble to her. Her thirst for glory makes her make rash decisions.

She was seen struggling to fit in, getting betrayed by her friends and facing embarrassment but further down the trailer, things started to change for her. She gets into a relationship with someone she likes, but it does not just end there. Not just one, but she ends up with two boyfriends. Her friends are left confused with her new life and the change in her personality.

The series also delves into LGBTQ themes as Mich is also seen sharing an intimate moment with a person of the same gender. Things start to get further complicated as she fails to keep up with the lies and her new life. But even in the midst of that, she still manages to love herself.
