The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 6: Guns For Hire
The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 6 tries really hard to hold it together for the show. Given how the last episode was released and received, this was one episode everyone was looking forward to. However, the pressure to perform well might have just gotten in the way because the latest episode of the series has been really frustrating.
The episode opens with the Quarren travellers being stopped by an Imperial Cruiser that is captained by Axe Woves, who is Bo-katan’s former companion and Koska Reeves (yes, finally!). They are essentially privateers and payment is what mostly matters to them. The title of the episode makes sense now, right?
With this we move forward in an episode that is dramatic and comedic but, you have no idea what is intentional and what is not. We see Din Djarin along with Grogu join Bo-Katan as she tracks down her ex-comrades in the Outer Rim. In this process, they meet two of the Star Wars franchise’s most iconic characters: the shiny C-3PO and the lovely R2-D2.

These are not the only cameos the episode has to offer because we get to see from Black to Lizzo, everyone plays some character or the other. Are these characters even believable? Well, the episode really does nothing much to sell them off.
The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 6: Final Thoughts
It is a messy thought thinking of how The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 6 has played out because it has nothing substantial to offer and acts more like a filler. For what you ask, we have no clue because the series has been threading in the right direction, slowly but, steadily. However, the sixth episode has been really frustrating and dampening the mood.
Additionally, the production design for the episode was really good and it seems like the plotline of the episode put the entire effort to waste. With two episodes remaining, it is an anxious time to decode what is going to happen next in this series as it is so close to coming to an end.
