The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies Episode 3 Recap
This episode kicks off with a tense meeting between the evil lieutenants, including Mira. They are suspicious of him, questioning if he’s truly committed to dealing with the magical girl, particularly Spica, who insinuates he is infatuated with her. Mira reassures them that everything is under control and proceeding as planned. He even receives an urgent call during the meeting, which he uses as an excuse to leave, seemingly proving his loyalty. However, the call turns out to be from a restaurant confirming an order for Mimori, revealing his true devotion and continued support for the magical girl.
Later, Mira brings a bouquet of beautiful flowers to Mimori, who confesses she’s been making artificial flowers to make ends meet. Mira quickly realizes that the cat making her work overtime doesn’t deserve Mimori’s loyalty at all.
Upon returning to his office, Mira’s subordinates surprise him with nightclub tickets, suggesting he needs a break from his hard work. To his surprise, he discovers Mimori working as a nightclub hostess—one of her many side jobs, alongside being a magical girl and a convenience store clerk.
The situation takes a dramatic turn when Mimori suddenly breaks down in tears in front of Mira. The reason for her distress is shocking and enrages Mira: the cat is trying to sell a perverted video of Mimori. What follows is a hilarious yet intense sequence of events as Mira beheads the man-like cat.

In episode 4, we might see Mira’s road to love getting hindered by his friend or colleague, Fomalhaut. He seems like a very nice and decent man who is willing to help his friend in need. But sadly, he does not know that his friend is not all appreciative of his meddling.
