The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies Episode 2 Recap
This episode brings a delightful mix of sweet moments and intense scenarios. Lieutenant Mira is hopelessly infatuated with Mimori, the female protagonist. His obsession began when he first encountered her in battle, and despite his efforts to turn this infatuation into hatred, he has failed so far.
Mira, aware of Mimori’s struggles, tries to help her whenever possible. The episode starts with him acting like a stalker, searching for any information about her online. Unfortunately for him, there’s very little available, and he doesn’t even know her real name.
In an attempt to impress her, he kidnaps the best pastry chef to get the finest desserts for Mimori. During their meeting, he sees her transform into a magical girl for the first time and immediately asks her to do it again so he can film it. His resolve nearly crumbles when Mimori offers to mend his damaged shirt, a gesture that makes him blush as it feels intimate, like something newlyweds would do.
We also see Mimori’s tough situation. She juggles several part-time jobs and is coerced by a manipulative cat into becoming a magical girl. This shady cat makes her distribute business cards for massages and likely exploits her by taking her money and freeloading off her.
The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies Episode 3 Preview
In episode 3, we might see Mimori’s boss finding out about her relationship with the evil lieutenant Mira. The boss is an insufferable cat who is taking advantage of her and mooching off of her. We might also see more romantic moments between the leads.
