The Law of the Jungle Finale: Here are the Penta-Champs Who Took Over 200,000 Pesos Home Each

In The Law of the Jungle finale, we see contestants push their own limits to win a large cash prize. Also known as La ley de la selva, this Mexican reality television show is hosted by Yolanda Andrade and features 12 contestants from different walks of life competing for the grand prize of 2,000,000 Pesos. However, the show also gives contestants the opportunity to throw in the towel and make their teams lose in order to win special prizes deducted from the total pot.

While The Law of the Jungle remains relatively tame, to begin with, it definitely feels like an adventure for some of the contestants. They were assigned pairs and asked to make some shelter for one night in the wild. It was an icebreaking moment ready to get them geared up for two weeks of strenuous workouts and some intense debates with their teammates.

By the time they make it there, we get an idea of their personalities and their professions. There are twelve contestants, Sandy, Cesar, Layla, Josue, Leslie, John, Bruce, Zoe, Fabian, Paola, Adrian and Gina. These people come from across the country and have different motivations to win The Law of the Jungle. They were divided into two teams, the blue team and the orange team, each with six members to begin with, before the missions start to shave the numbers down.

Over the next few missions, many contestants were eliminated in the Purge, where winning team members were allowed to vote for anyone on their team or the opposite team to go to the next round. Sandy left first, followed by Fabian, Cesar, Zoe, John, Layla and finally Paola, after she lost a death match in Rock, Paper, Scissors.

The Law of the Jungle Finale

Remaining in The Law of the Jungle were the members Leslie, Gina, Adrian, Bruce and Josue. They were asked whether they would like an elimination round or not, which was unanimously in the favour of no elimination. Post this interesting choice, contestants were also asked to choose whether they would like to compete together or individually for the prize money.

Once again, their wise minds thought alike and chose unanimously to compete in the final mission as a team. Their task involved carrying a large pole through various obstacles and turning it into a large lever to have a hammer ring a bell indicating the competition of this task. Here are the Law of the Jungle winners who contributed to this massive 200,000 Pesos win:

Leslie

She is one of the younger team members who is an actor and influencer, making her way through the industry as a beginner. Throughout the duration of this show, however, we see her grow from being this spoilt girl who just wanted to have fun to someone who will put her team members first and appreciate the way the jungle has provided them with resources and energy.

Gina

Gina is a sportsperson who wants to quit her 9 to 5 in order to become a full-time athlete and also help her mom with her cancer treatment. She was already a strong athlete who started off at the top with the orange team, however, by the end, she had truly proven herself as an elite athlete ready to take on any kind of challenge.

Adrian

Adrian is a multimedia artist, going by the pronouns he/she/they and is ready to take any measures in order to win. They were here in the competition to make money and they have proven it repeatedly. Taking the most number of offers and earning money for themself and their team members, they managed to become the villain of the show before turning gears completely and becoming the necessary evil.

Bruce

Part of a group called the Wapayasos y Horripicosos, Bruce is all strength, and while that has caused him some insecurity throughout the show in terms of contributing in mentally skilled missions, he had still become an integral part of the team. He had chosen on a key occasion to choose to continue to support his team in winning than taking up the opportunity to win some more money on the side.

Josue

One of the calmest members of the competition, Josue is also an athletic powerhouse. His flips on multiple occasions have already proven that but the way he has carried himself through the competition is fantastic. He wants this money to buy his mom a house back and pay his debts back in order to achieve that. This win meant a lot to him and Gina, whose dedication to the sport and the game would have made them winners for sure, but this group win was also fantastic.
