The Judge From Hell Kdrama: Lee Kyu-han Confirmed to Star in New Fantasy Romance Drama Alongside Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young

On July 10, SBS’s upcoming fantasy romance series, The Judge From Hell kdrama, secured Lee Kyu-han to join its star-studded cast alongside Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young. Directed by Park Jin-pyo, known for acclaimed films like You Are My Sunshine, Voice of a Murderer and more, this marks his debut in television direction.

Set in a supernatural realm, the drama 지옥에서 온 판사 centres around Kang Bit-na played by Shin-hye, will be a demon from hell inhabiting a judge’s body. Her path intertwines with Han Da-on played by Jae-young, a compassionate detective dedicated to delivering justice in a harsh reality worse than hell itself. The narrative explores themes of good versus evil, framed within a romantic fantasy, as they navigate the complexities of judgment and morality.

Lee Kyu-han will assume the role of Jeong Tae-gyu, the eldest son of Jeong Jae-geol and CEO of Taeok Construction. Described as a perfectionist with striking looks and a polished demeanour, Tae-gyu is driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence in all his endeavours. His engagement to Kang Bit-na, prompted by familial obligations, promises to add layers of intrigue to the unfolding drama.

Known for his versatility in portraying both heroic and villainous characters, Kyu-han has garnered acclaim for his chilling performances in dramas such as Battle for Happiness and Longing for You. His addition to this drama is expected to bring depth and complexity to the character dynamics, elevating the storytelling with his nuanced acting prowess.
