The Good Bad Mother episode 5 brings a mix of emotions as it goes from Mi-joo’s up and lows, Kang-ho’s overflowing cuteness and an ending they did not see coming. Directed by Shim Na-yeon, written by Bae Se-young and stars Ra Mi-ran, Lee Do-hyun, Ahn Eun-jin and Yoo In-soo in main roles.
The slice-of-life series follows Young-soon and her son Kang-ho who share a tumultuous relationship with each other thanks to her strict parenting when he was a child. Now an adult, Kang-ho is a cold-hearted prosecutor who chooses to keep his distance from her mother and lives in the city. However, when a tragedy strikes, Kang-ho is forced to return home to the village, wherein he finds a new lease on life and rebuilds his relationship with his mother as well as with his childhood friend Mi-joo.
Episode 5 brought in a rollercoaster for fans as the Kang-ho Mi-joo couple serves us with heartwarming moments alongside pain and a reunion that has only been hard on the latter. With a feeling of sympathy for Mi-joo, they also cannot stop talking about the pain Kang-ho tells his mother about after seeing Mi-joo.
Alongside the moments served by the couple comes a strong justification from fans as to why Kang-ho is the twin’s real father. Meanwhile, the exchange between Kang-ho and the twins once again gets fans talking because the cuteness is really overflowing when they are together.
Then the unexpected ending where Kang-ho faces a mix of confusion which goes from the person who has arrived to kill him to the people who just burst out of a cupboard at home has us all thinking about what is even happening. And with Lee Do-hyun having tissue paper stuffed up his nostrils, well we can say that this ending was definitely overwhelming for us all.
