The Glory Season 2 Review: Song Hye-kyo’s Revenge Is Finally Here, and so is Her Salvation

The Glory season 2 Review: The season (더 글로리 2) brings the continuation of Song Hye-kyo’s character, Moon Dong-eun’s revenge, as she finally achieves the goal she had been aiming for; however, this comes with more than just a satisfying revenge of her own. Directed by Ahn Gil-ho, she leads the drama alongside Lee Do-hyun, Im Ji-yeon, Park Sung-hoon, Yeom Hye-ran, Jung Sung-il, and other cast members.

The Glory brings the story of a young architect aspirant who, after severe bullying, has to drop out of school. Later, while her bullies lead a happy and everyday life, she creates a road for revenge after intricate planning through the years and by becoming the homeroom teacher of her bully’s child.

The Glory Season 2 Review

The much-awaited The Glory season 2 is finally here, and the wait has definitely been worthwhile, especially after the satisfying end this season has brought us all. This season’s plot really took us all through a rollercoaster ride and left us all gasping until the final moment.

After a fantastic season 1, the sequel has done justice by bringing us the same adrenaline rush that it took to another level with the wonderful cast. Additionally, this season’s focus on the other cast members, other than the main leads, brought in more insight into their individual stories, which added to our sympathy for them.

On the other hand, it also brought out our anger towards the antagonists for whom we would have definitely felt sympathy. The stories of their victims, along with the grief of the ones left behind, were highlighted well in this season and once again showed us their helpless pleas that were finally fruitful.

Meanwhile, the intricate plot Moon Dong-eun weaved was definitely a highlight this season as we see her far-sightedness that helped her through the many challenges that came towards her. Be it facing her mother or any other challenge that came towards her, she clearly dealt with these challenges and showed that she has definitely put a lot of effort into these days of revenge.

Moon Dong-eun’s character development this season has also been something to look forward to, as she brings forth more emotions this season after her cold aura from season 1. Similarly, the antagonist Park Yeon-jin, played by Im Ji-yeon, has really brought out one of her best performances this season.

The other antagonists have also brought out an equal amount of madness in their characters; however, the most unexpected twists have been brought out by none other than Joo Yeo-jung, played by Lee Do-hyun. Altogether, the cast has really brought out their best performance this season and has done justice to the amazing script that has been put together.
