The Glory Part 2: New Stills Give Us a Look Into the Vengeful Grand Finale

While a young child may not know what hatred is, Moon Dong-eun understands it better than anyone else and is all set to recreate her design of revenge again in The Glory Part 2. Netflix Korea has put out some expressive and evocative new stills for the upcoming sequel of the Korean drama that first released on December 30, 2022.

Directed by Ahn Gil-ho, the thriller series stars Song Hye-kyo (plays Dong-eun) and Lee Do-hyun (plays Joo Yeo-jung) as the leading pair of this twisted storyline. More actors seen alongside them include Lim Ji-yeon, Jung Sung-il, Park Sung-hoon, Cha Joo-young, and others. The K-drama’s plot is dark as ever and highlights the social evils Dong-eun had to face at an early stage, which she clearly never got over. And, as payback, she’s now serving the same hot meal to the ones who scarred her young memories.

Though now a primary school teacher, her wounds are still very much fresh. The official log-line of the series reads, “Years after surviving horrific abuse in high school, a woman puts an elaborate revenge scheme in motion to make the perpetrators pay for their crimes.”

Dong-eun and Yeo-jung have developed a bond over this elaborate process of planning out their next moves, and the new stills released today, portray them in a wistful light. One of the photos even reveals Dong-eun getting clouded by emotions, which leaves her teary-eyed. While we can speculate all we want, everything about this show has been unpredictable up to this point and has always left our jaws dropped. The only way to find out as to what caused Dong-eun to tear up all of a sudden is to watch the upcoming season.

Moreover, Yeo-jung’s profession has anyway given him an upper hand to do the inside job with ease, and it looks like he’s tampering with some injections. These photos have sparked the fans’ interest yet again as they’re shocked to see some characters back in flesh, but who knows, these may just have been moments of the past. Let’s not hold on to anything while desperately waiting for the show to come back because we’re anyway going to get hurt by what’s about to happen soon. Comments like “They better give her, her revenge” are already popping up under the The Swoon’s official post, and we couldn’t have worded it any better than this.
