The Game: You Never Play Alone Ending Explained

The series opens with game developer Kavya working hard for the launch of their new game in a few weeks, as the popularity of their previous work soars. When she is asked to join an interview about it, however, things go haywire as the interviewer asks some sexist questions that trigger her to reply fiercely. The trolling immediately starts, and despite Kavya’s husband Anoop’s insistence to lodge a complaint, Kavya elects to ignore it and move on with her life.

However, her unserious attitude comes back to haunt her after a work party ends in tragedy, and she is roofied and attacked by masked men who steal her belongings and leave her bruised. The incident leaves a mental scar on Kavya, and the police get involved. Kavya starts to investigate on her own with the help of her colleague Dani, who is an expert hacker.

Elsewhere, Kavya’s niece Tara, going through the throes of puberty, meets a man online who promises the moon and stars to her and pressures her to send him intimate photos. Although Tara holds strong at first, she is eventually worn down after she is bullied in her swim class. Of course, the man doesn’t stop at one picture and demands more and eventually asks for her grandmother’s banking details.

Who is Kavya’s attacker?

After much investigation, it turns out that Kavya’s attacker is an online gang that targets women and blackmails them with their nudes to hand over their banking information. They are disgruntled men who have nothing going for them and thus found Kavya to be everything that they dislike about women – strong, independent and able to stand up for herself. One of them is Vikram, a close friend, who was jealous of Kavya’s success and wanted revenge. However, his scheme went a little out of hand.
