Warner Brothers Discovery is slowly creating its own cinematic universe for the DC Comics IP, and fans clearly have something to say in The Flash Twitter reactions. Starring Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Maribel Verdú, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Ian Loh, Antje Trause Rudy Mancuso and Ron Livingston, alongside other cast members, this film is directed by Andrés Muschietti and written by Christina Hodson. Benjamin Wallfisch joins the crew as the music director, while Henry Braham joins as the cinematographer.
This film has been gaining all the eyeballs ever since the trailers have been released. There are other reasons as well, but for now, Keaton’s Batman making an appearance, the multiverse opening up, and the Earths annihilating have made fans incredibly excited for what is to come. The way this starts rivals Spider-Man’s naivety when he asks to erase everyone’s memory. Flash goes back into the past in order to bring someone back from the dead.
When he gets there, though, he recognises that another Barry Allen is present, and that is not all. General Zod came back to this planet and was ready to raze it to the ground. For some reason, this world must die. The earth starts caving in, catastrophe reigns everywhere, and the only thing Barry can do is try and get back some semblance of control in this world where his mother is still alive. The only goal he has here is keeping his mother alive. Obviously, there are allies. Kara, Super-Girl, is ready to help them out by defeating Zod.

Meanwhile, Keaton’s presence will be a big turning point for the characters and set the stage for more multiversal events like this one. However, viewers are split about this movie. While some rave about the storyline and herald it as the beginning of the DCEU, others are comparing how the television universe handles this storyline much better. Either way, the Arrowverse had its own way of handling the events of the Flashpoint, but this film seemed to have missed the mark with some.
Others are annoyed that Grant Gustin didn’t get the opportunity to reprise his role on the big screen, given that they had shot an episode with Miller’s cameo in it. They lament that instead of Gustin’s rendition of the character, they got Ezra Miller playing both, not having audiences see a better alternative. Others are taking their time to write long paragraphs supporting the movie, talking about its ability to push the universe forward and hailing Miller’s performance in this, along with Calle’s, Keaton’s and Affleck’s.
