Who is Jodie?

Jodie starts off the series has the second coming of Christ – he had all the powers that Jesus had, and everyone followed him as such. Unfortunately, Jodie wasn’t God. He was, actually, the Devil’s child who created this ruckus in his small town in order to gain his powers and fully unleash it in order to bring about Armageddon.

How did Jodie get his powers?

Jodie had always had his powers because of the way he was conceived – his mother was probably part of a devil-worshipping cult, and she had Jodie with Lucifer. Thus, Jodie always had powers to manipulate and convince people to do his bidding. However, his powers completely came out when a truck fell on him, but he miraculously survived.

What happened in the end?

In the end, it turns out that Jodie, now being groomed by the Devil-worshipping cult, has become the President of the USA and is about to bring forth Armageddon by orchestrating a deadly war between nations. Although his friends and townsfolk, at one point, thought of him to be good and just, since he helped people cure their ailments and all, he wasn’t actually working in their best interests and was simply being groomed in order to unleash his power.

Who was Tenoch Huerta’s Character?

He was also part of a shadowy organisation whose job was to protect the Earth from the Devil. However, he wasn’t able to secure Jodie before he disappeared because he tried to control and contain Jodie on his own instead of bringing in the cavalry to do it for him.

Was Sarah really a part of the cult?

Although Sarah has been running and hiding with Jodie for so long, in the end, it turns out that she has been working for the cult and the Devil for all these years and has been keeping Jodie in “captivity” in order to make him rebel and unleash his powers. Thus, she hands him over to the cult after realising his powers and is also seen walking with Jodie after the latter becomes president and destroys the world.
