The Boys Season 3: Fans Feel Bad As Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy Gets Betrayed, See Reactions

The Boys Season 3 Episode 5 was released on Friday, June 17. In the new episode, we finally saw more of Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy. The Boys want him by their side to kill Antony Starr’s Homelander. Billy Butcher and Hughie (Karl Urban and Jack Quaid) have gone to some deadly extent to win Soldier Boy’s trust.

In the fifth episode, we learn that Soldier Boy was captured by the Russians and kept in a facility since 1984. He was in hibernation for decades due to an explosion caused when he lost his mind. Jensen’s character is still traumatised by everything that happened to him. The Russians tortured him in every possible way.

Butcher and Hughie take Soldier Boy to Crimson Countess, his lover during the 90s. Soldier Boy learns that his own team betrayed him in 1984 and led to his capture. He was hurt, especially because he was waiting for Crimson to come and save him. Instead, she helped them get hold of him. An angry Soldier Boy releases an energy blast and kills Crimson Countess.

After watching The Boys Season 3 Episode 5, fans took to Twitter to share their reaction. They feel bad for Soldier Boy, who got betrayed by his team members. Fans are asking how they should hate Jensen Ackles’ character who was cheated.
