A new episode of the animated Star Wars show is on Disney+ Hotstar and The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 12 reactions are pouring in. The new episode is directed by Nathaniel Villanueva and Brad Rau and written by Jennifer Corbett. The Star Wars animated series is created by Dave Filoni. It features Dee Bradley Baker as Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo and Crosshair. Michelle Ang features as Omega, Keisha Castle-Hughes voices Emeriee Karr, and Crispin Freema voices Lieutenant Nolan.
This episode talks about Lieutenant Nolan’s adventure trip to the depot along with Crosshair. There is some tension in the group because Nolan doesn’t really like clones. Meanwhile, there have been issues at the depot, so Crosshair and Nolan decide to see what the threat level is and what they are planning on stealing from that place. This Imperial Depot has been getting a lot of attention because insurgents have been stealing important cargo from there.

Crosshair and Nolan are here to make sure that there won’t be any attempts of thievery. However, an avalanche separates the group and Crosshair is stuck with the clone Mayday. They have a big discussion about their jobs and their lives, which is when Mayday expresses how they are just trying to do their job and they still get paid close to nothing. Mayday has been injured thoroughly and Crosshair has to half-drag and half-carry him across the snow-capped fields in order to reach Nolan.
The man is already annoyed that they didn’t bring back the stolen crates, so when Crosshair asks for some medical attention for Mayday, Nolan is blowing a top off. He doesn’t expect to save any of these soldiers. Sadly, Mayday passes away in this hubbub and Crosshair is reeling with the emotions that come with losing a man he connected with. Unable to handle Nolan’s existence any longer, Crosshair shoots him in the head.

Once Crosshair makes his way to the Empire Base, the character Emerie, injects him with something while she treats his injuries. The episode ends on a banger as mentioned in the title of this article but it is also heartbreakingly sad as fans revealed. The Clones continue to be treated as villains or bad faith actors while they are just trying to do their job without getting killed.

The reactions are nothing short of raves and tears as people express their excitement for a new and brilliantly improved new episode. The past few weeks have been a lull in the conversation but this week’s action-packed and heartbreaking episode just pulled it from the trenches it was falling in. Fans have expressed how the dialogues are well written featuring them in multiple tweets, while others have taken to posting hilarious reaction videos to the events from the show.
Additionally, they are so annoyed by the kind of traumatic events Crosshair has had to go through in years as a Clone and then as a commander while the Empire does not care at all about them. They have expressed disappointment in the system and abject hate for the Empire. While things were super sad in The Bad Batch universe, fans were also excited for the double feature of this show with The Mandalorian.
