Do Rentaro’s girlfriends finally meet Chiyo?

Rentaro introduces Chiyo to his other girlfriends, and their reactions are absolutely hilarious. Hahari welcomes such a decision with open arms, almost becoming a bit too excited about the whole situation. Karane, on the other hand, completely loses it; she even asks Rentaro whether this is actually something that is going to be accepted or not. While again breaking the 4th wall, Rentaro comments that it is probably fine because the last episode aired without a hitch.

Here, Rentaro even claims that it does not matter if BPO gets involved, as they could take them on. While, funnily enough, it gets shown that the actual production committee of the anime absolutely does not want anything to do with the BPO. BPO is the Japanese broadcasting organisation.

How does the meeting go between the girlfriends and Chiyo?

Though at first, the girlfriends were very welcoming of the new member, everything soon became pretty bizarre. Chiyo has a habit of correcting everyone and anyone. She cannot effectively stand anything that goes against order. Thus, she obsessively begins to correct all the girlfriends from their attire to the way they speak. This causes an immense disarray among them, and everything turns absolutely chaotic. Needless to say, such a result completely breaks Chiyo.

How does everyone calm Chiyo down after she starts to blame herself?

Chiyo becomes overwhelmed with emotion, blaming herself for the chaotic situation. She asks for forgiveness, and all the girlfriends try to pacify her. And the best solution that they came up with was to kiss Rentaro one by one. Apparently, that is how they plan to prove that something that feels so wrong can also be something that makes everyone happy. Lastly, Rentaro also kisses Chiyo. Then the girlfriends officially welcome Chiyo into the Rentaro family.

Does this part of the storyline continue in the second half?

No, in the second half, we get another story where, this time, it involves Meme. A new character called Toruru comes with a camera to capture Meme without any authorisation. Apparently, Toruru is a part of the school newspaper, and she wants to shoot Meme because she is a mysterious beauty who always tries to hide herself away. Toruru then posts a rare picture in the newspaper, and Rentaro goes out of his way to collect all the newspapers circulated within the school and even decides to teach Toruru a lesson. However, that is when Hahari comes to save the day.

Does Hahari manage to do something?

No, Toruru puts forward some damaging evidence of what goes on in the Rentaro family and blackmails Hahari into silence. That is when Rentaro decides to do something himself, and his girlfriends join in the effort to block Toruru from taking any pictures of Meme.

What was the solution that Meme came up with to avoid cameras?

Toruru had reportedly trained a lot to capture a photo of Meme. Thus, Meme theorises that if she trains as well, she could also evade a camera. Somehow, Harari thinks it would be great for Meme to dress up as a Bunny to quicken the process.

What worked and what did not work?

Today’s episode got off to a funny start, and that energy carried through much of the episode. However, the second half wasn’t as strong as the first. Yet, it remained entertaining, delivering its usual nonsensical yet hilarious humour.
